and model, Marie-Pierra Kakoma aka Lous,
has poured her life into her music. Her debut
album, “Gore”, was released in 2020.

‘Lous’ is an anagram of ‘Soul’ and ‘the Yakuza’

or behind the scenes. She collaborated with
producers and musicians she met on the street
in Brussels.

“The first people who believed in me were on
the streets of Montgomery, Brussels. We all
sat there, with other homeless people, and
every night they said to me, ‘Go sing!’ Without
a thought behind it. It was just, ‘Sing! We like
your voice.’ And that was beautiful.”
