Of Nature and Man
Living in a treehouse, excavating stones, or sailing the oceans… What is man’s place in nature? Bosmuseum 2.0 questions the connection and perception of both nature and man.
With Enlightenment, man was cut loose from God & Nature. He came in charge, reason prevailed, and nature was subdued. Only recently, people realize this mindset is jeopardizing their very existence. We need to consider a reality that transcends us.
The Soignes forest has been hosting man for ages: houses were built and are today’s witnesses of human culture. More than just offering their walls to host a museum, we want these houses to be the principal actors, telling and questioning the history of our forests.
